Engineering hubs · Balkans · EU
We build and operate dedicated engineering teams in the Balkans for European and US product companies - from talent access and hiring to legal setup, office space, and local operations.
Your team. Your culture. Your IP.
01 The proposition
Every engineer joins your roadmap, tools, and culture. They use your company identity, work under your leadership, and build IP that belongs to you from day one.
Alongside local operations - from the first market brief and talent search to a fully operating hub - Gamayun provides technical leadership and support to reinforce engineering standards, delivery quality and practical execution.
02 Full-service local support
One local operating partner to turn an expansion plan into a working engineering hub - without asking your leaders to become experts in a new country.
Compare Serbia and Bulgaria, shape the launch plan, and choose the right route for your long-term presence.
Turn your team design into a focused search through regional talent networks, technical screening, and a clear hiring process.
Give each new hire a dependable local employment experience, from offer through onboarding and ongoing support.
Coordinate the local work that keeps the hub compliant, paid, and properly administered as it grows.
Find and set up the right workspace, then manage the practical details that make it ready for the team.
Keep the local platform running while your engineering leaders focus on product, technical standards, and culture.
03 Why the Balkans
Technical depth, a durable talent pipeline and practical operating economics make the Balkans a strong base for dedicated product and platform teams.
Experienced engineers work across the product, platform and connected systems disciplines that modern companies need to keep moving.
Strong technical colleges and universities create a steady local pipeline of exceptional engineering talent with rigorous foundations.
European workday overlap, strong English communication and close cultural proximity support tight collaboration with distributed teams.
Competitive total employment and operating costs let companies invest in stable, high-quality teams without compromising on standards.
The opportunity: build a dedicated team where skills, supply, proximity and economics can compound over time.
04 Enterprise-ready operations
An engineering hub is more than a team. It is a local operating environment that needs clear ownership, documented controls and dependable reporting.
A controlled local operating layer
Gamayun coordinates local employment, payroll, vendors and workplace operations within the standards your legal, finance, people and security teams set.
Documented local processes and reporting give finance, HR and internal audit a clearer view of how the hub operates.
Clear operating responsibilities, escalation paths and vendor coordination reduce ambiguity across the local environment.
Local operations can follow your access, privacy and incident-management requirements from the outset.
Your central teams set the bar. We maintain the operational discipline needed to meet it locally.
05 Engineering focus
We focus on durable product and platform teams - not interchangeable project resources. Every search is shaped by your stack, domain, and engineering bar.
Frontend, backend, full-stack, DevOps, SRE, platform and security engineering.
iOS, Android, cross-platform, mobile infrastructure, and quality engineering.
ML engineering, LLM applications, MLOps, computer vision, and evaluation.
Data platforms, pipelines, analytics engineering, warehousing, and governance.
Embedded software, IoT, edge systems, test automation, and device-cloud integration.
06 Two markets, one partner
We help you decide with role-level talent mapping, operating requirements, and a clear view of trade-offs.

A strong choice for product companies seeking experienced engineering talent, close collaboration, and a flexible route from first hires to a dedicated local operation.
An EU-based option with an established technology sector - well suited to companies prioritising EU procurement alignment and access to a broader regional talent market.
07 A practical launch
We start operations and recruitment in parallel, so legal setup does not become a reason to delay the team.
Illustrative plan. Timing varies by roles, location, and operating model.Location recommendation, talent map, costs, risks, and launch plan.
Employer story, search strategy, operating setup, and first candidate pipeline.
First engineers onboarded around your technical bar and team design.
Ongoing hiring and local operations with transparent reporting.
09 Built for trust
Salaries, employment costs, workspace, and operating fees are separated and visible.
You set the technical bar, interview the finalists, and lead the engineering work.
The structure is created for continuity, including a route to direct ownership.
We coordinate local employment, finance, legal, workplace, and people operations.
10 Common questions
Staff augmentation is available when it suits an immediate need, but it is not the full Gamayun model. We help you choose a location, recruit a dedicated team, establish the local operating structure and provide technical support as the hub grows. Your company retains product direction, the working relationship and ownership of IP.
Not necessarily. Depending on the country and long-term plan, the team can begin through an employer-of-record or provider-held structure while a dedicated entity is evaluated or established.
The model is flexible. Your technical leaders can manage the engineers directly, or focus on high-level outcomes while Gamayun provides day-to-day engineering management, technical leadership and local operations support.
Usually a coherent product or platform pod of roughly five to twelve people, with a clear mission and enough seniority to operate independently. The exact shape should follow the work - not a preset bench.
Yes. Under a Build–Operate–Transfer model, the transfer path is designed and agreed before launch, covering the team, processes, vendors and, where applicable, the local entity.

11 A note from the founder
“A strong international team needs more than great engineers. It needs shared standards, clear communication and local operations that let people focus on doing their best work.”
Dejan Stosic has spent his career working with US and European enterprises as a senior engineer and engineering manager. He has built systems, led teams and worked across the practical realities of international delivery.
That experience shapes Gamayun: an engineering-led partner that understands both the technical work and the employment, legal and operational coordination required to make a cross-border team work well.
